Fabuła:

Dr Temperance Brennan jest wysoko wykwalifikowanym antropologiem. Gdy na miejscach zbrodni zawodzą standardowe procedury działania, gdy przy użyciu wypracowanych metod policja nie jest w stanie zidentyfikować ofiar na podstawie ich kości, to dr Brennan jest pierwszą osobą proszoną o pomoc. Jej niesamowite zdolności połączone z ogromną wiedzą bardzo szybko dają możliwość natrafienia na właściwy trop. Jednak nawet najśmielsze tezy i pomysły dr Brenna nie okazałyby się skuteczne gdyby nie Seeley Booth, agent wydziału zabójstw FBI, zwolennik tradycyjnych metod śledczych. Booth, były strzelec wojskowy, potrafi zawsze w odpowiedni sposób i z innej perspektywy spojrzeć na naukowe badania Brennan, uzupełniając je o czynniki społeczne. Inteligencja Temperance Brennan i spryt oraz trzeźwa ocena sytuacji Seeley'a Bootha, tworzy z nich niesamowity duet, który potrafi rozwiązać nawet najbardziej zawiłe zagadki kryminalne.

Booth and Brennan travel to China to help identify pre-historic remains, but while on the flight, a human body is found in the plane. In order to solve the crime, Booth and Bones must get equipment from the passengers in order to piece together a devise to send evidence back to The Jeffersonian before they lose jurisdiction. Back in the U.S., Hodgins begins to move on after his break-up with Angela, while Angela and Roxie grow closer.

Title: The Skull In the Sculpture
An impounded junkyard car contains the crushed remains of a famous artist, leaving Booth and Brennan to determine if there was foul play or not. The suspects range from his rivals to his own assistant, causing the team to race the clock and find evidence of a murder before the smashed vehicle must be relinquished to put on exhibit for an art show showing an artists self sacrifice for his art.
Meanwhile, Roxie, the ex-girlfriend of Angela, becomes a prime suspect due to her work with the artist. So Angela and the team must work to find who delivered the final artful stroke to the artist.

Episode Summary:When skeletal remains are found in the Chesapeake Bay, Brennan and Booth are on the case to investigate. With only the upper torso of the victim intact, the team has little to work from besides the remnants of the victim's breast implants. Brennan and Booth are led to a small church community in Maryland where the victim was a pastor, but they have no record of her existence prior to moving to the small town five years prior. When the victim's lower half is discovered, the team realizes their initial assumptions about the victim may not be correct. As Sweets lends insight to the victim's psychological state and Brennan's latest grad student adds his own offbeat observations, the team must decipher who would have wanted her dead. From possible love interests to her family to the parishioners at the church where she was a pastor, the anatomy of the case is very misleading.

Bones Season.2

Beginning with the death of a senator and ending with a marriage, the second season of Bones builds on the momentum created during the Fox drama?s debut year. Bones? sophomore season (which includes all 21 episodes that originally aired during 2006-2007) centers on the collaborations between FBI special agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz, Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), whom Booth has nicknamed ?Bones.? While Booth doesn?t completely believe in Bones? method, he can?t argue with her success rate at solving crimes. As for Bones, she is meticulous at what she does and is a borderline genius, but she has issues. Seemingly oblivious to her own good looks, she is all but socially inept. Booth may be blunt, but he?s comfortable dealing with the public. Bones, on the other hand, would rather be sequestered away with the dead, trying to figure out what happened before their uncertain deaths. Of course, while viewers can see that Bones and Booth would be a perfect couple, the characters aren?t quite there yet. Their friendship becomes a little more complicated this season when it turns out that Bones? new demanding boss, Dr. Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor), is a former girlfriend of Booth?s. And the two women aren?t getting along.

Still, everyone is able to work together to solve a series of crimes, such as identifying the remains of an all but unidentifiable teenage boy and dealing with a serial killer who is emulating the crimes depicted in Bones? latest mystery novel. (Yes, she?s not only a brilliant scientist but also an ace author.) Like many television dramas where forensic evidence is a driving force in the plots, Bones offers up the gross-out autopsies. But it also serves up a lot of humanity in the way the characters interact with one another. It is giving nothing away to reveal that Bones and Booth are not the couple getting married in the season finale. But the episode does reveal that beneath their tough exteriors, marriage and all that it implies is something they wouldn?t mind? perhaps even with each other.

TEMPERANCE BRENNAN (Emily Deschanel) jest utalentowanym antropologiem pracującym w Jeffersonian Institution, która w wolnych chwilach pisze powieści. Dr. Brennan bardzo często współpracuje z agentem FBI SEELEY'em BOOTHem (David Boreanaz), pomagając zidentyfikować zwłoki, kiedy standardowe metody są bezużyteczne.
Będąca nieco na bakier ze współczesnym światem (kompletny brak obeznania z pop kulturą czy niezrozumienie cytatów filmowych i slangu) często powtarza, że lepiej rozumie martwych niż żywych.
Razem z nią w śledztwach pomagają jej przyjaciele z Jeffersonian:
