Pittsburgh, 1990s. The local TV news was dominated by one team: Chuck Darling (Kelsey Grammer) and Kelly Carr (Patricia Heaton). On-screen they had the chemistry it took to be the best of the best. But off-screen, Chuck was an egomaniac and notorious womanizer, while Kelly was an uptight know-it-all. When Chuck was called up to do bigger and better things, he and Kelly departed without one tear shed.
